Best Practices

We support documents of the following MIME types -

  1. image/png
  2. image/jpeg
  3. image/tiff
  4. application/pdf

We have observed that our extraction engine works best with images around 1MB (HD or 2K resolution). Larger images have no added advantage and only slow the processing down.

Our face engine can work with even smaller images compressed to 300Kb-400KB.

For best results on Android, you can use our “Right First Time” SDK to capture & upload images of documents & selfies.
